Luxury Noojee Accommodation

Toorongo River Sanctuary is without question one of Gippsland's most spectacular properties and also one of Gippsland and Noojee's most luxurious accommodation venues. Just five minutes from Noojee Village, It is Nestled in the lush Toorongo Valley on 150 acres.

The property is a mix of pasture, river flat, native bushland and some exotic species such as a number of 100 year old Californian Redwoods that tower towards the sky.  Its primary feature is the Toorongo River that undulates right through the middle of the property. Normally crystal clear and easily accessible, the river is spring fed and is perfectly clean and teems with trout, making it one of the most sought after fishing spots within two hours of Melbourne. The picturesque Toorongo and Amphitheatre Falls are just five km's up the road.

The sanctuary is a wildlife haven with many exotic birds and native animals, readily seen by those that look for these things.

Noojee Village itself is really the land of rivers. The Latrobe River merges here with the Loch river and the Toorongo River. Noojee's rainfall is one of the highest in Gippsland and the state. There are also excellent tourist attractions in the area such as the Toorongo Falls, the Ada tree, Glen Nayook Reserve, Mt Baw Baw, The Noojee Trestle Bridge, The tramway walk in Noojee, The picturesque Toorongo and Loch Valleys and the rolling pastoral hills of Neerim South. Its hard to find a prettier, more scenic and lush area in Gippsland and its just 90 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.

Noojee has several cafe's, two pubs and the multi award winning (Age Chef's Hat, Vic Tourism Awards) Outpost Restaurant. Within 30 minutes there are some of Gippsland's best wineries, cafe's and restaurants so one can easily spend several days getting around to all the attractions, cafe's and wineries.
